I've been in love with good food since I was a kid. So naturally, I choose to spend my career in the culinary & wine worlds. Driven by my passion for food & my love of Italy, I dropped everything and moved to Umbria, where I lived for 1-1/2 years. All of my work & research on the cuisine, culture, and wine of Umbria paid off. Thomas Dunne Books published my Umbrian cookbook in 2010! Now I offer a Food & Wine Tour in Umbria every September. I want my participants to come away with the essence of Umbria. Through food--cooking and the pleasure of sharing meals together--and getting to know wine and its part in every day life, and touring we all come away with a good sense of the culture and people.
